George Washington was the first president of the United States, from 1789 to 1797. Washington helped to create a stable government and make important decisions for the future of the country. When his term ended, Washington chose not to remain in office for a third term, that beacuse he didn't want to accumulate too much power. This gesture became an example for all presidents. George Washington is considered one of the founding fathers of the United States.

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States and led the country during a very difficult time: the Civil War. This war broke out between the Northern states, which wanted to preserve the Union, and the Southern states, which wanted to secede and form a new nation, primarily to continue using slavery. Abraham Lincoln is remembered as one of the greatest presidents of the United States because he kept the country united and freed millions of slaves. He fought for freedom and equality, and his work changed history not only in the United States but also around the world.

John F. Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States from 1961 until his death in 1963. Many important events happened during his time in office. 1. Luckily, Kennedy was able to solve the crisis without starting a war. 3. Space Race: Kennedy promised that the United States would land on the Moon by the end of the 1960s. This pushed the country to make big progress in space. 4. Bay of Pigs: In 1961, there was a failed attempt to overthrow the Cuban government, but it was a big failure for Kennedy and the U.S. 5. Domestic Policies: Kennedy tried to improve the economy and created the "Peace Corps," a program to help other countries. Unfortunately, Kennedy was killed in 1963, but he left an important mark on U.S. history.
