Patrick O'Malley is an international corporate and securities lawyer, dual-qualified both in the United States (NY, FL and MA) and in the UK (England & Wales). He gained his experience in large Anglo-American law firms, most prominently at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He is also an adjunct professor in comparative business law matters, including corporate compliance at numerous schools, including the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, Brest Business School in Brest, France and ESADE Law & Business School in Barcelona, Spain. He has collaborated with the LL.M in International trade law at the ITC since 2011. O'Malley also regularly teaches at about a dozen other universities, companies and professional legal/business training organizations around Europe and the US, and occasionally in Africa and Central Asia. Most of his courses cover comparative US-EU business law issues. He has especially focused on issues of international corporate governance, transparency and global efforts to combat corporate corruption/bribery. Dr. O'Malley is a graduate of Providence College (BA in History & Modern Languages), the Graduate Institute of International & Development Studies (Dés in International Relations), Boston College Law School (Juris Doctor) and the University of Navarra (PhD - Doctor Europaeus in Law).
