BMAC Spotlight: Jared Porter

Meet Jared Porter, Brand Social Media Manager. He joined our team in February 2022.

• Top 5 Strengths from StrengthsFinder? Developer, Relator, Belief, Positivity, Intellection
• Favorite Travel Story: I'll never forget driving the Sea to Sky Highway in Canada with my family in 2019. The route from Vancouver to Whistler is breathtaking with snowcapped peaks, old-growth forests, and mountains that disappear right into Howe Sound. I was overwhelmed by the wonder of those vistas and thankful to experience them with my favorite travel companions.
• Favorite Marriott Memory: Visiting ICE! with team members in my first year at Gaylord Hotels. I'd experienced ICE! several times before, but being part of it and visiting with team members made it even more meaningful that year.
• Most Watched Movie: White Christmas, it's a classic.

• How did you pick your pet's name?: Our cat, Hermione, is named for the Harry Potter character. It fits her perfectly. She's highly intelligent, spirited, a good friend, and (we're convinced) magical.
• Favorite Holiday Tradition: Going to our favorite Christmas Tree Farm.
