Citation Help
We know creating citations can be frustrating. Even though students know that they need to cite, the rules to citation formatting are often complex. Citation generators can be a useful tool in starting citations but we've seen students getting docked points when they rely exclusively on them. The library recommends comparing generated citations against an example citation and use it as a template or skipping the generator completely in favor of recreating citations based on a template. You can find more information about citing, and websites with numerous citation examples on the library's Writing Guide. Select the citation format below to learn more about each one.
