The history behind Thanksgiving

Thnaksgiving is on the 4th Thursday in November. Many Europenas went to Amreica on a ship called Mayflower to find a new life.The winter was too cold and lot of them died, beacause there was no food to eat during the hard winter. The others could only survive with the help of the Indians. They showed them how to grow plants and hunt animals. The next year the harvest was a success and to celebrate they organized a feast to give thanks.
