JAZZ
Also known as the genres of music that are being produced or played at the moment, this one is divided in a lot of subgenres: Rock, Pop, Rap...
A genre of music that uses a lot of improvisation and normally, its components are complex harmonies and chords with response vocals.
A genre of classical music / a genre in which people act, vocalise and sing simultaneously.

Grand piano
Is made out of:
Wood and metal When you play a key on the piano, it makes a sound due to the vibration of a stretched metal string.
Electric viola
It is made of:
Wood (body and neck), metal (strings, hardware), electronic components (pickups). The electric viola is similar to the acoustic viola but with electronic pickups. It converts string vibrations into electrical signals, which are amplified. It allows for various effects and amplification, making it versatile for different music styles.
Electric Guitar
Is made out of:
Silver or silver-plated metal, sometimes nickel or gold. The silver transverse flute is a woodwind instrument played horizontally. It produces sound when the player blows air across the mouthpiece and presses keys to open and close holes, changing the pitch. It's known for its bright and clear tone.
Banjo
Is made out of:
Metal, wood and a tensioned head, similar to a drum head. The banjo is very simple and it also shares similarities with the guitar. It has 4 to 5 strings and produces a sound when you touch one of them, causing the string to vibrate.

MIDI controller
Is made out of:
Plastic, metal, rubber, electronic components (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a device that sends MIDI messages to other devices capable of generating sound, such as synthesizers, sound modules, or computer software (DAW). These controllers can take various forms: keyboards, drum pads, MIDI guitars, and even wind controllers.
advanced synthesizers
Is made out of:
Plastic and Metal, Electronic Components: Advanced synthesizers are complex electronic musical instruments that generate a wide range of sounds through various synthesis methods. They often incorporate digital signal processing (DSP) and advanced modulation capabilities.
Phonograph
Is made out of:
Cardboard, solid wax, aluminium It uses a recording system, in which sound waves are transformed into vibrations using a transducer.
Theremin
Is made out of:
Metal antennas, electronic circuits, wooden or plastic casing. The theremin is an electronic musical instrument controlled without physical contact. It has two antennas: one for pitch and one for volume. The musician moves their hands near the antennas to create sound, with one hand controlling the pitch and the other controlling the volume.
Players MP3/MP4
Is made out of:
Plastic, glass and electronic components IFunctionality: Data Storage: MP3/MP4 players store audio (MP3) and video (MP4) files in internal flash memory or removable storage like SD cards. File Decoding: The player decodes digital audio and video files using built-in software that interprets the MP3/MP4 format. This process converts compressed files into audible sound or visual display. Playback: The decoded signals are then processed and sent to the output device (e.g., headphones, speakers, or screen) for playback. MP3 players focus on audio, while MP4 players handle both audio and video.
Electric Guitar
Was made out of:
Wood and animal intestines (sometimes) for strings and frets. An important brand is Epiphone (1873)
Is made out of:
Generally wood (although some are treated to look like metal or plastic) while the strings are mostly made of nickel-plated steel. An important brand is Jackson (1980)
The electric guitar transforms vibrations from the strings to electromagnetic energy then transforms this energy into an amplifier, which in turn makes a sound.
Saxophone
Is made out of:
Metal The saxophone is only made out of metal. When air is blown in the instrument from the mouthpiece, it projects a sound thanks to the air vibrating. The air goes through the body of the instrument and exits through the bell.
Electric bass
It is made of:
Wood (body and neck), metal (strings, hardware), electronic components (pickups). The electric double bass is similar to the acoustic double bass but with electronic pickups. It converts string vibrations into electrical signals for amplification. It retains the deep, resonant sound of the acoustic version but with the added benefits of amplification and sound manipulation.
Streaming platforms
Are made out of:
Nothing They're software (applications) that allow you to listen to different genres of music from any device.
CD
Is made out of
Polycarbonate plastic (for the disc), aluminum (reflective layer), lacquer (protective layer), and dye (for recordable CDs). A laser beam inside the CD player scans the surface of the disc as it spins. The laser reads the tiny depressions (called "pits") and the spaces between them (called "lands") on the reflective surface of the CD.
Accordion
It is made of:
It is made by lots of different things, including wood, plastic, metal and others. It is played by expanding the bellows while pressing buttons / keys, causing pallets to open. This allows the air to flow across reeds, which are strips of brass or steel. These vibrate and produce the sound.
Grand piano
Is made out of:
Wood and metal When you play a key on the piano, it makes a sound due to the vibration of a stretched metal string.
Harmonica
It is made of:
Mostly brass, but expensive harps from different manufacturers like Easttop, for example, use phosphor bronze or stainless steel.
This little instrument, normally used in folk or blues music, produces sound when the person manoeuvring it causes its reeds to vibrate by blowing air into it, for instance.
Phonograph
Is made out of:
Cardboard, solid wax, aluminium It uses a recording system, in which sound waves are transformed into vibrations using a transducer.
Casette
Is made out of:
Magnetic tape (a thin strip of plastic coated with iron oxide or other magnetic material), plastic housing, and small metal and plastic components for the reels and tape transport.
