Structure/Rules
General rules:Verbs that end in –ss, –sh, –ch, –o, –x: –es are added. Verbs that end in consonant + y: remove the –y and then add –ies. Verbs that end in a vowel + y: add –s. As for the conjugation of other people, the verb remains the same.
Structure:When conjugating a verb in the third person singular, there are spelling rules: Most verbs: add –s. Verbs that end in –ss, –sh, –ch, –o, –x: add –es. Verbs that end in consonant + y: remove the –y and then add –ies.
