Structure:When conjugating a verb in the third person singular, there are spelling rules: Most verbs: add –s. Verbs that end in –ss, –sh, –ch, –o, –x: add –es. Verbs that end in consonant + y: remove the –y and then add –ies.

General rules:Verbs that end in –ss, –sh, –ch, –o, –x: –es are added. Verbs that end in consonant + y: remove the –y and then add –ies. Verbs that end in a vowel + y: add –s. As for the conjugation of other people, the verb remains the same.

The verb present simple is used in sentences in the first person to the third person singular and changes according to the contexts of the sentences and indicates verbal and objective actions, the verb present simple is made up of adverbs of frequency and are placed in the present tense, expressing emotions and various opinions, indicating instructions or indications.

Affirmative: I am a doctor. You/We/They are an engineer. He/She/It is at home.

Interrogative:Am I a doctor?Are you an engineer?Is he at home?

Negative: I am not a doctor. You are not an engineer. He is not at home.
