Ada Lovelace

Today we're going to talk about Ada Lovelace (full name: Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace)!She was a mathematician and she's known for her contribuition on Charles Babbage's work.

Her life

1815-1852

She was born on the 10th of december in 1815.At the age of 17 she was tought math and science by William Frend, William King and Mary Somerville. In 1835 she married William-king Noel and had 3 kids with him; Byron in 1836, Anne Isabelin 1837 and Ralph Gordon in 1839. In 1942 Babbage asked her to translate Menabrea wise. She also writed her notes in the wise and Babbage was affascinated and told her to keep them. She died because of a cancer at the uterus the 27 november 1852 at the age of 36.

Her contribuition to Babbage's work

Babbage and Ada started talking about math and science and they've exchanged eachother's notes.He asked her to work with him at this project. She invented the software for Charles Babbage's mechanical calculator.
