The History of Tokyo

Tokyo was not always named Tokyo and in the past it was a small fishing village called Edo. Later, an emperor renamed it Tokyo, which means "Eastern Capital"

Tokyo's Culture

Tokyo is famous for being a mix of old and new. For example you can visit one of the oldest temples in Japan like Senso-ji Temple, or Mejii Shrine, an amazing spots surrounded by trees. But Tokyo is also known for its modern attractions like Shibuya Crossing (the busiest places in the city) or the Tokyo Tower.
