Aesthetic labour involves employees’ appearance and presentation, often used in the service industry to boost sales or maintain brand image (Warhurst & Nickson, 2007; Luoh & Tsaur, 2024). For example, attractive staff may influence customer choices (Wu et al., 2020).

To examine the impact of aesthetic labour on employee well-being and job satisfaction in the service sector. Find out how important physical appearance is in the hiring of employees in the service sector.
