Introduction

Based on the challenge of incorporating technology to enhance individualized instruction and student engagement in the classroom, I have provided research based tools and strategies that can provide support for instruction and overall student success. This includes incorporating a more personalized learning approach for individual students in the classroom based on their learning profile characteristics and abilities.

Tech-Based Challenge

General Technology Skills: Leveraging technology tools effectively to meet the teaching and learning needs of students (e.g. device management, learning management systems, and general digital literacy.)

  • Incorporating student engagement resources and strategies using technology in the classroom.
  • Learning about the available resources to incorporate student engagement opportunities as well as providing more individualized, targeted instruction for her students.

"Technology will not replace great teachers, but technology in the hands of great teachers, can be transformational."

- George Couros
