Our pedagogical model- Modern School Movement

The Modern School Movement is a sociocentric model in which the democratic practice of managing content, activities, materials, time and space is done in cooperation between the adult and the child. Model inspired by: Lev Vigotsky, Jerome Bruner, Jean Piaget Célestin Freinet, Paulo Freire, John Dewey and Sérgio Niza

cooperation IS of utmost importance

Class Management and Cooperation Committee

Cooperative Project Based Learning

Thematic cooperative work projects, artistic productions, scientific research or social interventions, for the development of curricular learning, monitored by the teacher, who is the mediator. It all starts with the children's questions or the identification of a problem in our community.

Class meetings where students and teachers can plan, evaluate, analise important events, reflect on ethical issues and construct social and moral rules, which will help with emotional development.
