Affects on Insurance Policies

Affects on Auto Policies

• With few exceptions, people who purchase insurance from our company must be members of NCFB Federation.
• When membership dues go unpaid, policies associated with that Member ID number may non-renew or expire.
• Insureds who do not maintain current memberships will have their policies or coverages canceled.

• For Auto policies, NCFB will cancel the insured’s physical damage coverage after the first six months of a delinquent membership.
• If the membership remains delinquent, NCFB will cede the liability coverage to the Reinsurance Facility.
• Once the dues are paid, the policy or coverages will be reinstated effective the date that the dues were paid.
