They value the convenience of locations near campus, and the in-person shopping experience. This audience is socially attractive, looking for items that are unique enough to demonstrate individualism, but trendy enough to allow them to fit in. They appreciate boutiques for their specific understanding of popular items that represent a practical and fashionable lifestyle. They value a place where they can find items that fit casual needs, but also formal needs. Lone Star Chic incorporates a combination of preppy style with traditional Texas western style, appealing to many Texas University students. Each location successfully targets their specific audience of that University by providing product lines that include that university's colors and logo. This includes Texas Tech game day dresses with school colors, and boots/ earrings with the college logo. Older teenagers living in the area may also find much of the merchandise sold appealing, as well as potential new students.
