Nicki also helped produce some posters to put up around the office to promote awareness of women's health!
Fiona set up Coastal's very own women's group as a safe space for women to open up about issues relating to women, both inside & outside of the workplace!
We ended the year with a £4K surplus!
This might seem a small amount but is only 0.1% variance of our total expenditure budget of £4M

Mark S was invited to take part in the Singapore International Water Week Conference...
He discussed managing and adapting to sea level rise with other global city leaders!
Langstone 100% Design Community Eventtook place with 90% support for the scheme!

South Hayling BMP
Successful completion of the 7-year, £3.3M - South Hayling Beach Management Plan, affording protection to over 1500 homes each year
Langstone 100% Design Stage Completion
- 9 funding streams
- Heritage and environmental factors
- Design has the support of the majority of the community
Broadmarsh Coastal Park
We successfully bid for Design funding for Broadmarsh Coastal Park!
Hayling BMP was successfully funded until 2029!
Portsmouth's Highlights
NPCS Phase 5
Planning permission was approved with 100% support through committee!
Here's what happened to date...
- Gradual vegetation clearance started
- Reptile surveys & relocation began
Cockleshell Island
A nesting island for migrating birds was constructed within Langstone Harbour as an environmental initiative to support local wildlife
SCS Frontage 4opened to the public!
SCS F3 Planning & Approval was Completed!
Southsea Common's Planning approval, Marine Licence and listed building consents were applied for and granted!
Chichester's Highlights
Selsey Feasibility Study has been completed...
Funding for outline design & options appraisal was awarded!
Selsey Emergency Works took place
- Repairs to the public slipway
- Replacement of seawall apron
- Repairs to timber groynes and ramp
Chichester Harbour Conservancy released Tern TV - a 24hr live stream of their new Tern Rafts!
Gosport's Highlights
Stoke's BaySite Work
Planning permission was approved!
Thanks to the planning approval...
We then Sucessfully secured £760k of Local Levy funding for the Stoke's Bay Seawall Project, closing the funding gap and allowing the project to proceed into construction!
Forton Scheme
The project has been redesigned, consented and additional funds secured and due to be constructed by October 2024, protecting 211 homes over 50 years.
Fareham's Highlights
The option appraisal and outline design stage project for Fareham is progressing!
