In this session, you'll look again at the 'Law Overview' for some context on how it applies to the learning. Other key subjects will include:

  • You don't have to memorise all aspects of the learning; rather, focus on understanding the application of law in the context of a surveyor and valuer's role.
  • As a property professional, you should understand key legal areas and case law that may affect the valuation but you don't need to have the competence of a solicitor.
  • There can be legal aspects apparent on property viewings which should be referred to in reports.
