Just as the Gaul village of Obélix and Asterix is surrounded by Roman camps, the city of London is a small village inside London City. The city is twice as large as the little Gaul village in Armoric, that is to say 2.9 km. It also has its own Abraracourcix, its own mayor, elected by the habitants of the village (8.584 habitants). In the 18th and 19th centuries , the Port of London was the busiest in the world and stretched along the River Thames for about 18 km and had about 1,500 cranes loading and unloading 60,000 ships per year.
