Semester 1 Final Project

For your final, you’ll create an original Aero experience that contains your original artwork made in Rebelle and/or photography, text, and audio.Creating artistic themes for Adobe Aero experiences involves blending design, interaction, and narrative.Remember you are creating in a 3 dimensional space. You can arrange your elements on all sides including below and above the viewer.

  1. Paint all of your seperate elements on their own layer.

2. Hide your Canvas (you'll see the checkerboard.3. Hide all layers except one.

4. With one layer visible, File > Save As > Name it > Save to Desktop > Save as a PNG format (for the transparent background).

5. Add your image assets. They'll import as separate objects so you can position, scale, rotate, and add behaviors to them individually.

  • Duplicate - once you've added an element you can duplicate it in the Scene panel to create many very quickly.
  • Layered Depth - if you layer image objects on top of each other with some space in between you'll give your viewer a great sense of real depth.
  • Behaviors - you can do some incredible things when you have multiple actions timed to fire off simultaneously or in succession.
  • Test your AR experience - always test your experience in the real world and then make adjustments to your project to perfect it. If you don't have a device, you can use mine.
