What are the Mediational Processes?
1 ATTENTION
whetheir or not we notice the behavoir
3 REPRODUCTION
whether or not we are able to perform the behaviour
2 RETENTION
weather or not we rember the behavoir
4 MOTIVATION
whether or not the perceived rewards outweigh the perceived costs
Add some sort of interactive element here. Example: a photo of a bobo doll with information about the study.
Explore Bandura's contributions to understanding aggression and violence in the media, discussing the implications for societal attitudes and behaviors.
through Banduras bobo doll experiment he studyed children who observed an adult model behaving aggressively toward an inflatable doll were more likely to repete those aggressive behaviors themselves. Bandura's work showed that individuals, particularly children, learn behaviors through observation and imitation, a process central to his social cognitive theory. He showed how media source of observed behaviors, could influence societal attitudes toward aggression. When violence in media is shown kids were vilant.
In behavior and development it should consider both environmnetal biological influences and some critics argue that it makes this complex process of human learning way to simple and may not fully understand Banduras theory.
Discuss the potential limitations and criticisms of Bandura's social learning theory, considering alternative explanations for observational learning and behavior acquisition.
Investigate specific examples where Bandura’s social learning theory has been applied successfully in educational settings, discussing the outcomes and implications for learning.
Bandura’s social learning theory is used in todays education to help with learning and behavior. For example teachers when trying to give us an example on how to do something for a project show us how the project will be done and we will repete that action so that our project is to the best of its abilitys
Reflect on the enduring legacy of Albert Bandura in the field of psychology, discussing the continued relevance of his theories and their implications for contemporary research and practice.
Albert Bandura’s legacy in psychology is enduring it remains true for research and practices we see today. His social cognitive theory has changed how we understand education, therapy, and personal development all through the concept we knwo of today as modeling.
Albert Bandura’s contributions to psychology has left a lasting impact, shaping how we understand human behavior, learning, and modeling. His social cognitive learning theory continue to influence education and the media we know as today as learning through modeling!
