Activity to work both past simple and present perfect. "Tell me about your life"
First, the students are divided into two groups. Once divided, flashcards are distributed to each group with different example of incomplete sentences that they must complete using the past simple or the present perfect. When the first group finishes, the game stops, and everyone revieews the sentences together. The group that completes all the sentences corrrectly wins. Finally, the teacher will ask about the differences between these two tenses and why each tense was used in the sentences.
Structure
Affirmative: subject + verb (past form) + complement. She found a jacket in the room. Negative: subject+ did not+verb (infinitive) I didn't want to dance. Interrogative: did +subject + verb (infinitive) Did you find the treasure?
