What is basque diaspora?

The Basque diaspora is the name given to describe people of Basque origin living outside their traditional homeland on the borders between Spain and France.

WHEN DID THEY LEAVE THE BASQUE COUNTRY?

When did they leave the Basque Country?

People started leaving the Basque Country during the Spanish Civil War When Francisco Franco forbade the Basque language,and ordered the destruction of the Basque city of "Gernika".

WHAT DID THEY DO IN ORDER TO BECOME ACCEPTED?

What did they do in order to become "accepted"?

The Basque emigrants who emigrated to Colombia because of the war, didn't struggle to become accepted. Why? Because the Basques were very hard workers and didn't give any problems.
