Today I want to tell you a little bit about my life in and out of school. I'd like to talk about some of the highlights: changing schools, adapting, challenges overcomed, goals met, and I'd also like to share with you what I want to do with my future.

Who am I?

I'm actually not very good at describing myself, so I asked my closest friends to help me. They said I am funny, stubborn, grumpy, sincere, crazy, determined, cheerful, reliable, spontaneous, faithful, fair, observant, responsible, sociable, loves adrenaline and finally, a friend said that I live each day as it was my last, and enjoy the most of my life.

Corona started, and we all started fifth grade together, but then in sixth grade the class changed, and I have to say for the better, it was probably our best year as a group. Two years have passed, classmates have left, classmates have joined and the class is no longer the same.

I don't have many memories from when I was younger, but my family says I was an easy baby to handle, and very girly. As a baby I had a babysitter, and I spent my days at her home, with other babies. Then I went to kindergarden and I loved my teacher very much. I still have lots of memories and friends from that time.

When I started elementary school, in another school I didn't know many kids, so at first I didn't liked it very much, but then I gained friends that I still have today. In third grade I went back to my old school, and I reunited with my best friends, and it felt like a safe haven. It was the best decision for my future.

OMG, little Matilde is screaming, I'm in ninth grade, the last year of elementary school, prom year, with my best friends, with friends who grew up with me and friends who came into my life as a gift! On the other hand, not everything is incredible, I have to make a choice for my future and I have national exams, everything is getting serious, I'm growing up! It's incredible how when we're little we want to grow up and when we grow up we just want to go back to childhood.

The future

I've already decided that I want to study languages and humanities in the near future, but I don't know which school I'm going to. After high school, my life as an extremely confused person began to get complicated. For a long time I wanted to be a lawyer because defending people really fascinates me but I'm not sure if that is what I want to do in my future. But anyway, I was thinking of going to the Faculty of Lisbon. I'd also like to spend a few months volunteering in Cape Verde or another country that needs support. During my journey through these years of study, I'd love to spend a semester on Erasmus, guess where?
