Let's talk a little bit about her...
who is malala yousafzai?
Who is she...?
Malala Yousafzai is a young paquistanese activist who was a victim of a shoothing for defending girls rights about going to school.
Lets have a look on how was her early life...
her childhood
Malala's childhood...
Malala Yousafzai was born on the 12 July 1997, in the Swat District of Pakistan's northwestern province. She was birthed at home, with help of some neighbours, and her parents gave her the name Malala, which means "grief-stricken", after a famous woman from Afghanistan. Malala is the eldest child in her family, having two younger brothers.
Her childhood...
Malala was mostly educated by her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai. As a child, Malala aspired to be a doctor but her father encouraged her to become a politian. Malala started then speaking about education rights, inspired by the Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. In 2009 Pakistan Taliban banned girls from school.
What happened?
The shooting that put her life at stake
The day of the shooting...
Malala spoke out publicly on behalf of girls and their rights to learn. And this made her a target. In October 2012, on her way home from school, a masked gunman boarded Malala's school bus and asked, “Who is Malala?”. He shot her on the left side of her head. She woke up 10 days later in a hospital in Birmingham, England. The doctors and nurses told her about the attack and that people around the world were praying for her recovery.

MAlala's Exile and the nobel prize
Malala's exile...
After months of surgeries and rehabilitation, Malala joined her family in their new home in the U.K. She was determined to continue her fight until every girl could go to school.
Nobel prize...
She established Malala Fund with her father, a charity dedicated to giving every girl an opportunity to achieve a future she chooses. In recognition of their work, she received the Nobel Peace Prize in December 2014 and became the youngest-ever Nobel laureate.
MAlala's current life
What is her life now?
Malala's current life
Currently living in Birmingham, Malala is an active proponent of education as a fundamental social right.Through the Malala Fund and with her own voice, Malala Yousafzai remains a staunch advocate for the power of education and for girls to become agents of change in their communities. She's been married, since 2021, to Asser Malik.
My opinion about malala
My opinion...
In my point of view, Malala is a great example of strength and preserverance. She always fought for what she believed in, she is a true inspiration to a lot of young girls all around the world. Fighting for your rights is never an easy task, but Malala is one example that if you fight for what you believe in, you can make a change in the world.
