- developing active and proactive citizenship in children; - promoting conditions for children and young people to participate as citizens at school and community public spaces.

  • Activities:
- negotiating rules; - holding class or school assemblies to resolve conflicts or debate various topics; - making posters to be displayed at schools and at local level; - holding conferences to present the work done by children and young people throughout the school year.

  • Aims:
- raising awareness for the importance of an organic agriculture; - educating for sustainability.

  • Activities:
- cultivation of different horticultural species and fruit trees; - harvesting the produce from the organic garden; - “Christmas market” - publicizing the garden, distributing products from the garden in packaging made from recycled material.

  • For 1st and 2nd cycles

School Sport on Wheels

  • Aims:
- teaching children to ride a bike; - educating for sustainability and environment protection; - promoting individual health, well-being and healthier lifestyles; - building more inclusive interpersonal relationships.

  • Activities:
- riding a bike once a week (90 minutes - 1st cycle / 45 minutes - 2nd cycle); - Solidarity Walking/Riding a bike for Health and the Environment at the end of the school year.

- choosing the books the students most enjoyed reading; - promoting democratic participation; - valuing the personal contribution of citizens in a democracy; - understanding how the entire electoral process takes place and how it is organized.
