In order to gamify my elementary education classroom I would use the principles of competition and badges and levels. Competition to motivate students to push themselves. Groups compete with each other and comepete with one another. Badges and levels to recognize achievement and milestones, like mastering a specific skill. Sense of progression from the students

What was the most surprising/most interesting/most memorable piece of information you learned from the "Gaming in the Classroom Infographic"? How does this impact your thoughts towards your future classroom?

What was the most surprising/most interesting/most memorable piece of information you learned from the "TedTalk: The Power of Gamification in Education"? How does this impact your thoughts towards your future classroom?

The most intresting thing to me from the infrographic "How games can help children learn." 3500 chinese students used english language learning course that inlcuded digital games, and 95 percent of teachers said this improved students motivation. This impact me because i can use digital games to see the different verses using worksheets and see how this method is affecting the students.

Gamification should be impleting in the classroom and teacher should do this because it enchances student engagment and learning outcomes. Learning more enjoyable by incorporating challenges, rewards, etc to the students. Instant feedback, help students understand they are doing good and where improvement is needed.

Thinking about the principles of gamification, how do you see yourself gamifying your future classroom?

Why is gamification something you believe educators should consider implementing into their classrooms?

From the Gaming infrographic what interest me was 97 percent of teachers use digital games created for educational use. This impact me because these games are helping students learn more and its benefiting the teacher and students because the students are engage just as the teachers. Also, the teachers can give the students the extra help if needed.

For me what was interesting is the play and fun with the students. This eliminate the rope memorization method. This impact me because I can use different techniques to help these student have fun memorizing the information instead of giving worksheets and studying guides such as paper instead they can do games, something that they will enjoy.
