Listening: The Very Hungry Catepillar
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a 1969 children's picture book designed, illustrated, and written by American children's author and illustrator Eric Carle. The plot follows a very hungry caterpillar that consumes a variety of foods before pupating and becoming a butterfly.
Today, you'll watch an animated video of The Very Hungry Catepillar. This will be the main topic book this week on being special. Pay close attention to the catepillar each day and what the catepillar eats. Try to remember the different fruits the catepillar eats throughout the story. Also, remember what the catepillar turns into at the end.
Watch and listen to a different version of the the book, The Very Hungry Catepillar.

You'll complete 2 acitivites for this lesson. You'll be able to annotate (write) on each activity using your Wacom tablet or mouse. You may also print them out and upload them when complete. Each activity can be clicked on to open. Sight Word "I"- If you already completed this after the Sight Word Lesson and submitted, you do not need to complete this again. Letter Recognition-follow the lines to trace the letter G and H, color in the letters, and draw a picture for each letter. Submit when completed.
