What is thanksgiving ?

Many people wonder why Thanksgiving is celebrated; in essence, the holiday possesses a deep sense of gratitude. It is, as it sounds, a day to “give thanks”; it is mainly celebrated in the USA.

What do you eat at Thanksgiving?

Turkey is the main dish, so much so that this day has also been jokingly referred to as Turkey Day (USA). Millions of turkeys are slaughtered each year for this dinner. Ducks are often used as an alternative to turkeys.
