Introduction

Welcome to the Public Health escape room, an interactive adventure that will take you on a journey through the world of public health!

-What is Public Health? Public Health is the science and art of improving the health of communities through it's three core functions: assessment, policy development, and assurance. -In this game, you'll explore real-world challenges and make decisions that impact the health of a community (in this case students at the College of Charleston) through the three core functions. By the end of this journey, you'll have a better understanding of how public health works and the important role it plays in our lives.

This includes ensuring that people have access to the resources they need to be healthy, such as vaccinations, clean water, and healthy food. In this video, the CDC is providing information and resources to help people protect themselves from the flu. This includes information about how to get vaccinated, how to practice good hygiene, and how to stay home when you're sick. By providing this information, the CDC is helping to ensure that people have the tools they need to stay healthy.
