• Psycho's representation of mental health is considered inaccurate because it makes use of a "crazed murderer" stereotype.

Psycho, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, is a film from 1960 that primarily focuses on the inhabitants of the Bates Motel, as the crazed owner slowly tries to kill its inhabitants.

I Saw The TV Glow

• I Saw The TV Glow, taes a more abstract look at mental health, trying to describe how one experiencing gender dysphoria might feel. In that nature, The film does an excellent job with representing mental health. .

I Saw The TV Glow, a 2024 film directed by Jane Schoenbrun that takes an intense look at the affects that feelings of gender dysphoria can have on people.

• A Clockwork Orange, despite its intense nature, is considered to have an extremely accurate representation of antisocial personality disorder and the effect it has on people.

• The Shining is consiered to have an accurate representation of mental health as we see strikingly accurate depictions of both extreme stress snd cabin fever.

The Shining is a 1980 horror film directed by Stanley Kubrick. It follows a family trying to act as caretakers of an empty hotel during the winter season.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, directed by Tobe Hooper, is 1974 horror film following a group of friends as they slowly fall victim to a family of cannibals.
