Le comparatif de supériorité On l’utilise pour comparer deux éléments entre eux à l’aide d’un adjectif. Pour le former: - On ajoute -er aux adjectifs courts (une syllabe / deux syllabes finissant en -y ou -er) → warm = warmer → happy = happier (le -y se transforme en -i) - On place more devant tous les autres adjectifs.→ famous = more famous → dangerous = more dangerous - Quand un deuxième élément est exprimé dans la comparaison, on ajoute than:→ A shark is more aggressive than a dolphin. → You are nicer than him.

Exemple : relax → relaxed ⚠️ carry → carried stop → stopped A la forme négative et interrogative, tous les verbes se conjuguent de la même façon. A la forme négative on utilise “didn’t” devant la base verbale. A la forme interrogative, on place “did” devant le sujet.
