Welcome to an interactive preview of the new website
We're still tweaking elements of the new website before it's released to staff in early December to dig into and click around. In the meantime, we've created an interactive presentation to give you an in-depth preview of the website's navigation as an opportunity to start familiarizing yourself with the new site.

Books & More
The Download & Stream page features all of our library apps and is similar to the "Downloads" page on the current site.
What's New is a very popular page on our current website and will be designed in a similar way on the new site.
Gadgets & Things is a new page that will highlight this unique collection by category, such as "Retro" and "Kids Activities."
Think of this section of the website as "all things related to the collection." If you can check it out, you can find it here (or at least a link to it). Subpages highlight unique parts of the collection that people might not know are available while also providing access to popular resources and staff recommendations

Each link under BY AGE takes you to a filtered view of the events calendar based on specific age group. These labels match the age filters on Library Calendar.
Use "View All" under either BY AGE or EXPLORE to see the full events calendar without any filters.
The EXPLORE section features subpages dedicated to their topics. Visitors can learn more about these types of program offerings by clicking on the topic.

Popular categories are highlighted under RESEARCH and direct users to a filter view of available eResources.
Popular eResources have a subpage with tips and hints for using the platform. For instance, the LinkedIn Learning page offers info on how to use it on various screens.
Homework Help is one-stop to view all of our eResources for K-12 students. It also calls out tools people might not be familiar with like tutoring through BrainFuse.

Services
Poudre Libraries provides many services to our community based on area of interest and/or needs. This section of the mega menu highlights COMMUNITY services like Outreach as well as TECHNOLOGY services from printing to WiFi and more.
Some links are duplicated in places across the site because they are frequently used resources. We want people to find what they are looking for easily, regardless of how they navigate the site.
This is where you'll find Prospector and ILL services!
The age-based pages can be access under PLAN YOUR VISIT or from the homepage, making it easy for people to find what they are interested in.
This is Super Sized Circ! Your basic how-to info related to checkouts / borrowing, holds, autorenewals, returns & dropboxes, lost & overdue items. Visitors can also access the Manage Your Account and Borrowing from Other Libraries pages from here.
Manage Your Account includes information on PINs, updating personal info in the account, getting notifications, making a payment online, reading history, "my lists" and more.

Using Your Library
For anyone new to Poudre Libraries, this is a great place to start. From learning about age-based resources to getting a library card, this section contains information useful to getting familiar with our services and, specifically, using a library card, accessing the online account, and borrowing materials. Think of many of these pages as "all things circ."
We are eliminating our old blog and merging many of the posts into the new site. The News & Announcements section will allow us to create content and also present the latest big announcements (sort of a like a press room). The "posts" can also be featured on other pages that tie to the topic or audience.
The Board of Trustees section related to the governance of the district. It includes information about current Board members, past and upcoming meetings, agendas, and more.
All of the Library's policies can be found online. This allows us to keep them up-to-date and easy to access for the public. Some "rules" are also included here such as the Behavior Rules.

Footer: About
You'll notice a significant change in the Footer area with the new website. Because we have a mega menu for primary navigation, the Footer is now dedicated to less frequently visited pages. As with other websites, the Footer can be viewed and accessed from any page.
Current and future Library volunteers will find all of the information and links needed through the Volunteer page. This includes links to Volgistics, info about applying and eligibility, current opportunities, and more.
When people want to support the library and/or share a monetary donation directly to the Library or work with our Development Officer, this is the place to send them. It is an overview of all the ways people can donate to the library.
The Friends and the Trust are individual nonprofits (501c3) who financially support Library programs, services, and capital projects. Information about both groups can be found in the Footer.
