COLINS BASKETBALL STORY

FINISH

Colin Bilotta started his basketball career in 6th grade and played on plenty of different teams. Once he got to high school, he played at Grandview High School. He also played on his AAU team, Colorado Mayhem.

Colin then committed to Wartburg College in Iowa for basketball. He played there and it started great. He was coming off the bench and then playing very well. He was one of the offensive threats. The coaches were very pleased with the player they got

During the season, Colin had a few mistakes that he made and his coaches were bothered. They benched Colin for good and he stopped getting play time. Once this happened he questioned if he wanted to play basketball anymore. He started to think.

Colin has a dream of becoming a pro coach or a college coach. He will go through school and start coaching as an AAU coach. One day his goal is to get to college and coach. He is involving himself in school sports as much as he can to help.

Colin had thought about this for a long time. He decided to make the decision. He wanted to transfer to Colorado State University and stop playing basketball. He wanted to move closer to home and be with his friends and family. He didn't enjoy Iowa.

His plan is to get his degree in business. He wants to be involved in sports marketing. He will be reaching out to schools and club teams until he finds a coaching job that fits him. He plans to start coaching this year on a good team in Colorado.

He finally transferred to CSU. He is a business major and a regular student. He tried to become the manager for the basketball team here, but it didn't workout well. He now stays active hooping at the rec center. He is now wanting to be a pro coach.
