Carla, a 16 year old girl, had always been very close to her protective parents, who disapproved of her relationship with Lucas. Despite their objections, she secretly dated him, drawn to his kindness and attentiveness in the beginning. However, as their relationship deepened, Lucas began to show a darker side. When Carla refused to meet him due to her parents' rules, he became aggressive and threatened to break up with her if she continued to follow their restrictions, manipulating her emotions in the process. As time went on, Carla found herself facing not only the pressure of her parents' control but also the influence of her friends, who made her feel insecure about her body. One night, her friends convinced her to attend a party, promising that Lucas would be there. Carla, eager to see him and escape her parents' rules, lied to them, saying she was staying at a friend’s house. When Carla returned home later that night, her parents had discovered everything. Furious and feeling betrayed, they forbade her from leaving the house except for school or when accompanied by them. Carla felt trapped, isolated, and increasingly controlled, unable to see her friends or Lucas. The weight of both her parents' restrictions and the emotional manipulation from her boyfriend left her feeling powerless and alone.

Abusive relationships
Value who inspire you to grow and stand by your side in both, good times and challenges. Those connections light the way and make the journey easier.
Healthy relationships are essential for our growth and happiness, because in them we find the support, learning, and the motivation to be our best selves. When we are surrounded by friends, family, and partners who truly care about us, we have a safer environment to evolve and overcome challenges.
Conclusion
Family Relationships
In healthy family relationships, people trust and rely on each other for support, love, affection and warmth. Families often share common goals and work together to reach those goals. It´s also very important to maintain a good communication and respect each other’s opinions and beliefs.
Friendship
Healthy friendships also mean learning to respect and trust each other. Friendship is when people like each other for who they are. They might disagree with each other sometimes, but with respect and trust, they can talk about how they feel and work things out.
Romantic Relationships
You feel physically safe and your partner doesn't force you to do things that make you feel uncomfortable. Your partner respects your wishes and feelings, and you can compromise and negotiate when there are disagreements or conflicts.Contrarily, unhealthy relationships are built on power and control. In the beginning, unhealthy behaviors might not seem like a big deal. However, insults, jealous accusations, yelling, put-downs, shoving, pushing or other abusive behaviors are unhealthy and disrespectful.
