GLOBAL POWER GENERATION (GPG) was created as a growth catalyst for the international power generation business in 2015. It is constituted by 2 shareholders (75% Naturgy Energy Group and 25% Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA)) and its objective is to manage the international assets of the Naturgy group in 8 different countries.

Emissions Scope 1 are direct emissions derived from combined cycle power plants in Mexico and engine plants in the Dominican Republic. Without these plants, electricity supply in these countries would be at risk.

Study of Brolga (Australian Crane) around the Berrybank wind farm in Australia.Germplasm recovery work has been carried out at the Cabo Leones II wind farm. All the wind farms carry out periodic studies of birdlife and bats. In Brazil, 2 biodiversity recovery programmes have been developed and implemented. In the Dominican Republic, participation in the ‘Mission Recate Red Line’ programme. In Mexico, production of endemic plants and native tree species. Turtle Protection and Conservation Project

Estudio de la Brolga (Grulla australiana) en el entorno del parque eólico de Berrybank en Australia.En el Parque Eólico de Cabo Leones II, se han realizado labores de recuperación de germoplasma. Todos los parques eólicos, realizan estudios periódicos de avifauna y quirópteros. En Brasil, se han desarrollado e implementado 2 programas de recuperación de biodiversidad. En República Dominicana, Participación en el Programa ‘Misión Recate línea Roja’. En México, Producción de plantas endémicas y de especies arbóreas nativas.
