¿Qué vamos hacer?
Nuestra presentación va dirigida para los adolescentes, donde explicamos cómo armar una computadora desde sus componentes físicos (hardware) e intangibles (software). La presentación la haremos juntas excepto por las partes específicas que nos tocaron a nosotras. Habrá una portada visual donde se presenta el tema, un índice de los temas que vienen. Se dará una pequeña introducción de que es una computadora y cuál es la ventaja de saber armar nuestras computadoras. Se explicará qué es el hardware y el software y cuáles componentes necesitaremos para armar nuestra computadora. Sin mencionar que un video donde se muestre gráficamente paso a paso cómo hacerlo.

This includes the essential software that operates the hardware and provides an environment to run the application software. It may be further classified into the following:-
a) Operating System (OS): It is the most important component of system software. The OS manages hardware resources like CPU, memory, storage, etc. It provides a link between hardware and software communication and offers an interface to the user. Popular examples of OS include:-
Windows: It performs tasks with GUI, multitasking, and resource allocation.
Linux: A free-source OS that is highly flexible, customizable, and used on many servers.
macOS: Apple's operating system; being developed to function fluently with hardware devices
Device Drivers: These are programs, which enable the OS to communicate to hardware devices such as printers, graphics cards, and sound systems.
b) Utility Programs: These support the maintenance and optimization of the computer, including antivirus software, disk cleanup, and system backups.

2. Application Software
This includes program packages that execute user-driven activities, such as word processing, browsing the web, or playing games. In this regard, there are many types of application software, including:-
a) Productivity Software: Such programs as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint have made execution easy for users in office work by helping them create documents and analyze data.
b) Web Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, and Edge are some examples of catering to browser needs in this regard. Media Players and Editors: programs allowing the playing of media, like VLC, or editing of images, such as Adobe Photoshop. Games: Programs written for entertainment purposes but most of the time require high performance from a system.

3. Programming Software
This is software used in the development of other software. Examples include programming languages and development environments, such as:-
a) A compiler or Interpreter: These are programs that convert high-level programming language-written code, such as Python or C++, into machine language that the computer understands.
b) Integrated Development Environment: Applications like Visual Studio or Eclipse, which provide comprehensive environments for a developer to develop, test, and debug the

4. Firmware
Firmware refers to a specific type of software that is placed directly into hardware components. It provides low-level control and must be performed by the hardware itself, like BIOS in computers, which initializes the hardware when it is booted.

5. Software Development Process
It consists of phases like:
a) Requirement Analysis: In this phase, one learns about the requirements of the users.
b) Design: In this stage, the architecting of software is done.
c) Implementation: The writing of code is done in this stage.
d) Testing: Error checking is done in this stage.
e) Deployment and Maintenance: The release of software is done, and updates are brought forward whenever needed.
