Collecting Baseline Data

Collecting baseline data is the process of gathering information about current practices, behaviors, or outcomes within a learning environment. This data serves as a reference point or starting benchmark, enabling ieducators to identify areas for growth and measure progress over time. After the challenge and goal are created we can use several forms of data collection to paint the picture of our starting point. Some ways to collect data include, video recording, student surveys, classroom observations and examing student wotk.

To complete the 321 Exit Ticket, click on the Collecting Baseline Data assignment in Google Classroom. You will see the Exit Ticket. Click on it and a copy will be made for you.

To turn in your Exit Ticket:

  • Go to Google Classroom, click Classwork and find the Collecting Baseline Data Assignment
  • Click on the lesson and then click View Instructions
  • Click on the blue Turn In button when you have completed the Exit Ticket.
