Instructional Materials Checklist
When planning which instructional materials to use in your course, consider the following:
Do the instructional materials contribute to the achievement of the stated learning objectives?
Are the instructional materials useful to the learners in complement MLOs or CLOss or can learners complete these without them?
Are the instructional materialssuited to the level of the course?
Do the instructional materials represent up-to-date theory and practice in the course discipline and/or field?
Are the instructional materials easily accessible to all students? (Review Module 3 on Accessibility)
Do you need permission to use instructional materials from the property owner (author, publisher, etc.), including copying or downloading?
Sources for materials used in the course should be identified with references.
You may want to list references that follow style guides like APA, MLA, or Chicago.
