Aqueduto da Amoreira

O aqueduto de Elvas, cujo nome oficial é aqueduto da Amoreira foi construído no século XVI, com o objetivo de abaster àgua à cidade. Sofreu diversas alterações ao longo dos anos, mas funcionou para abastecer Elvas de água até ao final do séc. XX.

Ponte romana da Ajuda

A Ponte da Ajuda situa-se sobre o rio Guadiana. Atualmente está em ruínas, mas ligava Elvas, em Portugal, a Olivença em Espanha. Foi reconstruída e restaurada várias vezes devido aos conflitos que ocorreram. Marca a antiga conexão entre Portugal e Espanha.

Villa Romana de Torre de Palma

A Museu de Arqueologia é uma instituição cultural localizada na cidade de Elvas, em Portugal. Este museu destaca-se por reunir um rico acervo que explora a história, a arqueologia e as tradições etnográficas da região. A Etnografia de Elvas reflete as tradições e costumes alentejanos, com destaque para o Cante Alentejano, o artesanato em cerâmica e bordados, e as festas religiosas, como as de São Mateus.

A cerca de 1 hora de Elvas, em Monforte, encontra-se a Villa Romana de Torre de Palma, onde são preservados mosaicos, pinturas e elementos arquitetónicos da época. A villa inclui: uma área residencial enorme, termas, áreas agrícolas e etc. Destacam-se diversos mosaicos bem preservados, com representações geométricas e temas mitológicos.

Villa da Quinta das Longas

Tal como a villa de Torre de Palma, a villa da Quinta das Longas era uma propriedade rural que servia tanto para habitação como para exploração agrícola, sendo típica do sistema de latifúndios romanos. As escavações revelaram estruturas como mosaicos, tanques e restos de edifícios, evidenciando o impacto da romanização em Elvas e na organização do território.
