This assignment addresses 1, 2, and 3, of the AECT, and 4.1, and 4.4,of the ISTE Coaches Standards. Each of the standards addresses creating equitable learning and designing learning experiences that meet the need of the learner.
This assignment really opened my eyes to some things that occurs with the use of technology. What you may design to meet the need of the learner does not always meet their need. Althought the designer did not intend for techology to have some negative effects. The designer must consider and explore the negative and positive use of technolgy before implementation.
Unintended Consequences
Write a statement about what I learned and the technology standard it addressed While compeleting this assignment, I learned about some theories that I was not familar. Associated Standards: ISTE 4.1, 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5 AECT Standards: 1, 2, 3, and 4. These standards focus on using theory and practical application in the development of content with a focus on creating quality learning experiences.

This is not the first time that I have tried to create a lesson using Nearpod. The other times Nearpod seemed like it was only for K-12. And could not find much use for it. This time, I had to complete the assignment., now I must say that it can be used in higher education. The technology standards addressed: AECT 1, 3, and 5 ISTE Standards 4.1, 4.4, and 4.7. The focus of these standards is using theory to desgn and develop content. It is difficult to select a few standards, I can see how each of the standards could be utilized.

School/University Video Project
The video that is attached is a brief overview of my skill in creating a video, it is an introduction to Tennessee State University and some its activies.
Research/Project Interest
The goal of this project is to understand the specific needs and challenges faculty face when incorporating technology into their classrooms, while offering tailored guidance and resources to facilitate the process. Through personalized support, faculty members will gain hands-on experience with a range of digital tools—ranging from Learning Management Systems (LMS) to interactive software and multimedia applications—aiming to improve student engagement, assessment strategies, and overall instructional effectiveness.
