Manage Your Distractions
Create a good study environment to help you stay focussed. To avoid temptation, remove your distractions. - Turn your phone on to Do not Disturb - Turn the TV off -Create a clean and tidy study space -Write down any distracting thoughts so that you can deal with them later.
Reward Yourself
Decide on how you will reward your efforts once you have completed what you set out to do.Watch an episode of your favourite show, have a coffee break or enjoy your favourite snack.
Ask Yourself Why
There are lots of reasons why we procrastinate. Sometimes we fear failure or when we feel overwhelmed by a task while for sometimes we're just bored. The reason won't always be the same! If you're struggling to focus, take a few minutes to think why that is and what you can do about it.

Challenge Negative Self Talk
Be your own cheerleader and practice positive affirmations to create a positive mindset. Here are some examples:"I can do anything I put my mind to" "I strive to do my best every day" "I love to learn so that I can reach my full potential" "I am in control of my own learning"
