Activity Follow these instructions to practice logging into the online banking account.

Online banking provides a secure way to manage your finances online. To access your account, you'll be given:

• A customer number (usually provided by your bank)
• A secure password
• You will need to answer some security questions

Security questions help to ensure that only you can access your account. During setup, you'll choose answers to personal questions such as: • The city where you were born • Your first car's make or model • A memorable childhood location Choose answers that are meaningful to you but not easily guessed by others.

Note - your bank might give you a special card reader to help you log in. It looks a bit like a calculator. To log in, you'll need to pop your bank card into the reader - this is a clever way to check that you really are the account holder.

For this exercise, let's imagine that you have already set up your online bank account and your login details are as follows: Customer Number: 4599863289 Password: Happyhippo5! Answer to your security question: Bella (name of first pet)

During this exercise, click on the blue information icon "i" to access this information at any time.

Enter your customer ID number on the screen and then click 'Continue'.
