I programmed Snake using Java for the game logic and HTML and CSS for the interface. Java manages the movement and collisions of the snake, while HTML and CSS define the structure and appearance of the game. This project allowed me to combine programming and design, developing both technical and aesthetic skills.

What i do in the secon week?

I learned to program in SQL using Oracle, one of the most popular and powerful database platforms in the industry. Thanks to SQL, I can now create, modify, and manage data efficiently, using commands to build tables, execute complex queries, and optimize data within a database. Working with Oracle has helped me understand the importance of a well-structured database and the effectiveness of SQL in managing large volumes of information securely and quickly.

📖 What i do in the first week?

During our PCTO (Pathway for Transversal Skills and Orientation) experience at We Tech SRL, we had the opportunity to work on various technical and logistical activities that provided practical insights into the operations of an IT service company. In the first week, our main task was to configure 50 PCs for the Italian Ski Federation (FISI). We were responsible for setting up each computer by installing the necessary software, ensuring they were fully operational and ready for deployment. This task allowed us to gain valuable hands-on experience in software installation and configuration processes.

In the second week, we focused on troubleshooting and repairing computers that belonged to We Tech SRL employees. We identified and resolved multiple issues, ensuring that each device functioned optimally. This experience was beneficial in enhancing our problem-solving skills and our understanding of common technical issues encountered in a professional IT environment. Additionally, we also contributed to the warehouse operations at We Tech SRL. We managed inventory by organizing the warehouse, creating delivery notes (packing slips), and helping streamline storage. This role expanded our practical skills in logistics and inventory management, which are crucial for the efficient functioning of an IT service company. Overall, this PCTO experience at We Tech SRL allowed us to develop both technical and logistical competencies, providing a well-rounded introduction to the IT and warehouse management fields..

Elco is a company based in Cairo Montenotte, in the province of Savona, specializing in the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Founded in 1970, it is part of the Finmasi Group and is one of the leading Italian companies in this sector. Elco designs and manufactures PCBs for various industrial sectors, including: Automotive: PCBs used in automotive electronic systems, such as control units and safety systems. Telecommunications: circuits for communication devices, including smartphones and network infrastructures. Medical: PCBs for medical devices, diagnostic equipment, monitors, and other healthcare equipment. Industrial: circuits for industrial machinery, robotics, automation, and other production tools. there are significant differences between attending high school and working, and many aspects can feel new or even challenging to adjust to at first.1. Responsibility and Autonomy: At work, expectations are often much higher regarding personal responsibility and autonomy. While teachers in school guide and remind you of deadlines and tasks, in the workplace, you have to manage your duties, take initiative, and keep track of deadlines on your own. 2. Schedules and Pace: Work hours tend to be more rigid and are often longer than a school day. Breaks are shorter, and the pace is continuous throughout the day. 3. Relationships with Colleagues and Hierarchies: While at school, you spend a lot of time with friends and classmates of the same age, at work, you deal with people of different ages and roles, so it’s important to adapt and learn to communicate with them. Workplaces have structured hierarchies, and there are formal relationships with supervisors, so following directives and showing professionalism is essential. 4. Evaluation and Goals: At work, success is often measured in terms of productivity and concrete results. This brings ongoing evaluations of your performance, which may be directly linked to promotions, raises, or other career developments. 5. Continuous Commitment and Pressure: School prepares you, but work often comes with the added pressure to always be productive and meet company goals. At school, you experience exams and assignments, but the pressure at work can be constant and is directly connected to career growth and job retention. Although these differences can be demanding, entering the workforce allows you to grow in independence, learn on the job, and develop skills that are harder to dive deeply into at school.
