Day 24: The Crown of Victory

The battle reaches its climax as Samarin shatters the rhythm of the Treecake King's dance. The King stumbles, momentarily stunned by the disruption. In that moment, Evie appears in the corner of the room, her eyes blazing with determination. “For Honor’s sake, use the donut, Samarin! NOW!” she shouts. With a surge of hope, Samarin remembers the weapon he had completely forgotten in his stress. He pulls it out and raises the Holy Donut high before the enemy, channeling its radiant energy. The Treecake King, recovering from his shock, tries to launch an attack, but it’s too late. He is engulfed in a brilliant explosion of sugary light, shattering his essence into a starburst of glittering crumbs.

Samarin and Evie approach the fallen King, and Evie theatrically places the Treecake Crown on Samarin’s head. He breaks off a small chunk from the crown and tastes it. Evie gently nudges his hand before he can take another piece. “Don’t eat your crown, my king! We have this donut that’s far better for the occasion.” With a smirk, Samarin sets the piece aside. They share a sweet kiss, marking their victory beneath the soft light of Gediminas' Tower. Together, they enjoy the Holy Donut, celebrating their hard-fought triumph, their bond, and the adventures yet to come. Syd floats cheerfully behind them, his spectral tail wagging as he barks joyfully, trying to snatch a bite of the donut himself.
