INTRODUCTION

Scientific research ethics is a branch of ethics – the science that deals with morality and human conduct related to morality – that offers the principles of moral conduct that must be observed in the field of science.

When we talk about ethical implications in research, we are talking about rigor when working on research and how it is applied in the world of science, research, laboratories and also, of course, universities. As examples of these ethical implications, we can say that they cover the areas that we are going to mention below: - Right to participate in research - Respecting intellectual property - Information about the research - Experimentation on animals - Animal testing - Strengthening respect for life - Truthfulness - Comply with the law

3.1.1 ethical implications in scientific research

The ethical limits to research are a series of principles and rules that prevent science from being used to the detriment of human beings or the environment. Below are some of the key aspects: 1. Respect for human dignity 2. Well-being of living beings 3. Transparency and honesty 4. Environmental responsibility 5. Equity and social justice 6. Use of technology responsibly 7. Conflicts of interest

TECNO ETHICS

Ethical issues in Techno ethics:

  3. Use of stem cells and experimentation on living beings
  4. Distribution of medical resources

Bioethics is the branch of ethics that studies the moral issues that arise in biology and medicine, especially when these involve human life and the environment.

The technologist is the one who materializes scientific knowledge through his products and makes them available to society and has to comply with the moral principies that must govern decicions, although technological advances spread rapidily, creating new ethical dilemmas every day.
