Language Differences

English and Korean is significantly different in several aspects, including their grammar, structure, pronounciation, and the use of honorifics. Korean also doesn't have TH, F, V, R, L, or Z in its sound inventory and find it hard to pronounce.

The typical communication that is used in korea is mostly indirect and modest communication . Nonverbal communication cues like posture, facial expression, and tone are important in Korean culture to discern true meaning.

Cultural Communication Styles

Non-Verbal Cues

Some cues that are used in America are actually considered rude in korea. For instance, pointing with your index finger is considered rude in Korea. You should use your point with whole hand instead. Rather than the US, its not rude to point with fingers.

The communication method for Korea is KaKao Talk or "KaTalk" whether in the US we have regular messages and Whatsapp that can be used worldwide. Youtube and Tiktok is more of a Tecnology Tunnel rather than a barrier, especially for young teenagers but overall for all ages.
