CAUSES

Air pollution (like carbon monoxide, particulate matter, pesticides...) and second-hand smoke have an impact on our lungs.

CONSEQUENCES

-Cancers -Asthma -Respiratory diseases -Pneumonia

BRAIN

CAUSES

Floods and droughts that are reducing water quality and impact food system. Noise pollution due to transports for example... Natural disasters that make us lose our home...

It threats our health stress. This causes sleep problems. Neurological disorders.

Heart

CAUSES

A lot of elements are causing heart diseases like environmental and air pollutants but also extreme heat. The smoke created by wildfires degrades air quality.

CONSEQUENCES

- Stroke - Heart attack -Increase of the heart rythm

In conclusion, health problems due to the environment represent a major health challenge. Air pollution, climate change, noise pollution, exposure to chemical elements and natural disasters all have significant impacts on human health, increasing the risk of respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, infections, neurological disorders and certain types of cancers. These problems are not limited to developing countries; they also concern industrialized nations, which makes collective and coordinated action necessary on a global scale.
