Location and History
The London Eye is on the South Bank of the River Thames. It was built in 2000 to celebrate the millennium and quickly became one of London’s main attractions.
Size and Structure
Height and Rotation
It’s 135 meters tall, making it one of the tallest observation wheels in Europe. A full rotation takes about 30 minutes.
Experience and Design
The London Eye has 32 capsules, each representing one of London’s boroughs. Each capsule holds up to 25 people, giving everyone a 360-degree view of London’s skyline.
What You Can See
From the top, you can see landmarks like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. It’s a must-see for amazing panoramic views.
