Discovery Education offers three platforms for learning the basics of coding: Block Coding, Python, and HTML. Each platform includes a Learn section for understanding the language and a Create section for applying coding skills. Lessons can be assigned to students via a link or through a rostered classroom on the Discovery Education platform.

Swift Playground, available for both Mac and iPad in Fort Worth ISD Manager, helps students learn to code and build apps using Swift, the same language used for App Store apps. Students engage in lessons and walkthroughs that demonstrate coding concepts while building apps with Swift.

CS First, a computer science curriculum designed by Google, offers hands-on learning for students to explore coding using Scratch. Each project includes video tutorials and a creation space for students to practice their new skills. Teachers can assign lessons through the platform, allowing students to share their finished products with others.
