American education and innovation

The American school system has a different structure from the Italian one, both in terms of subdivision of school grades and educational approach.The American school system is divided into three stages:elemenatry school, middle school and high school.

-School Grades: Middle school in the United States includes the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.-Age of students: Students in this range are between 11 and 13-14 years old. -Structure: Unlike elementary school, students change classrooms and teachers for each subject, for getting used to a school style closer to high school. -Subjects: The main subjects are English, mathematics, science and social studies;Among the languages requested we find spanish,german and french. -Educational approach: In addition to academic lessons, American middle school places great emphasis on social and emotional development. The American school system faces several complex problems, often influenced by economic, political and social disparities.
