The comparative and superlative adjectives are used to compare people, objects, or ideas and to express the quality of something in different degrees.Comparative adjectives are used to compare two items, indicating that one has more or less of a quality than the other. They are usually formed by adding “-er” to the end of the adjective if it is one syllable (for example, taller) or by using “more” or “less” before the adjective if it has two or more syllables (for example, more interesting). • Example: John is taller than Mike. • Example: This book is more interesting than the other.
